Commit to the LORD whatever you do, and he will establish your plans. (Proverbs 16:3)

June 15, 2016 is the day when I have written the Timetable for my CCIE Written Examinations Preparations. This is the day when I have re-committed myself to work hard to pass the CCIE Routing and Switching examinations few months from now on.

What is pushing me to get my CCIE numbers is my love for my family and the passion on technology. I had to re-write my goals again and start working on it fast as I can in preparations for our migrations to Australia. I was really motivated to push myself ahead and get my CCIE within 6 to 8  months at most will be a year. I BELIEVE I CAN MAKE IT with the right attitude on studying and with the support of my wife and my two sons.

My plan is to study CCIE Routing and Switching Volume 1 & 2 and watch training videos and do my labs workbooks at the same time. One strategy which I have learned from a known experts is to read, watch the video on that topic, do the labs. Practice will definitely makes me learned the concepts fast!

I have a huge amount of reading materials and sometimes, it’s quite confusing which one to prioritized. But with my assessment on my core knowledge for both routing and switching, I have to refresh and faststart on building up my foundations on CORE switching and routing.  I had the old CCNP certifications and never had the chance to look into Troubleshooting section. As I’m browsing through a forum’s, I had the chance to grab a copy of valuable materials which I think are very helpful to speed up on re-building my foundations on both routing and switching and troubleshooting part of the CCIE laboratory.

It was very timely, that I been working on the EIGRP sections of the materials which is also on week # 4 of the master spreadsheets documents which I have prepared for my CCIE written preparations.

I was slowdown a bit for almost a week due to some issues which the whole family have attended to our home country. I still believe I can make it to my 12 weeks goals to ace the written examinations.

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
