This is the third post related to Static Routing. Below are the conditions for the configurations and analysis of the traffic.
- A new link has been added between SYDNEY and AUCKLAND.
- All Traffic from SYDNEY towards 10.0.0.0 network should be via this new links.
- All traffic to 10.4.7.25 must take the path through the MELBOURNE router.
Below are the changes on the Sydney, Melbourne and Manila Router to reflect the new IP segment between Sydney and Auckland.
For Melbourne router, I have added two paths possible towards 192.168.1.32/27 network.
Manila Router new routes:
But the traffic towards the PC2 10.1.5.10 is via the AUCKLAND –> MELBOURNE > MANILA link as seen below.
Traceroutes from Manila Router shows that paths is via MELBOURNE -> SYDNEY.
