Happy those who do not follow the counsel of the wicked. Nor go the way of sinners; nor sit in company with scoffers. Rather, the law of the LORD is their joy; God’s law they study day and night. They are like a tree planted near the streams of water that yields it fruits in seasons; its leaves never wither; whatever they do prospers. (Psalm 1:1-3)

Last Sunday was the fourth Kids Prayer Assembly in our community this Year of FAITH. It was an activity that both kids and parents are looking forward. The kids are excited to see their KFL friends. Parents as well are glad to see each other. This month’s kids teaching focus on Sacraments in which kids were taught of the 7 sacraments: Baptism, Confirmation, Eucharist, Reconciliation, Anointing of the sick, Holy Orders and Matrimony. The teachings were very interactive and kids were challenge afterwards on their understanding in a game which they enjoyed. After the teachings follows fellowship, playing and swimming for the kids and some parents are busy in preparing the foods and others in meeting and one-one-one discussion. To do good to others and share our life is pleasing to the Lord (Hebrews 13:16). With such an activity, we as community of believers is sharing our very own life, our joys, our pains, our time, our talents, our efforts, our resources to our kids which will be the future Champions of Christianity. By planting good seeds in their heart and planting GOD’s word in their soft and fresh heart, they will be like trees that there was planted near streams of water that will yield good fruits in God’s time (Psalm 1:3). As such, the community of Foundation for Family and Life (FFL) Singapore is very active in embracing and supporting renewal of the family through various programs of the community. Friends joined us for this great mission of renewal of Faith and living out Christ teachings in our life.

Quote of the week

"People ask me what I do in the winter when there's no baseball. I'll tell you what I do. I stare out the window and wait for spring."
