One Friday morning, I have decided to start executing my plans to keep my body physically fit. After uttering few words of prayer for protection for my family as I leave our house, I head towards the park with headset plug into my ears with the tunes of worship songs. That very morning, God has shows me an important reflections about devoting time for prayer. Upon completing four rounds on the park, I have decided to go for sit-ups in a bench. As I’m performing couple of sit-ups, an elderly man appear in front of me, un-rolling a small mat, kneel down, keeping both his palm just above his chest and started to pray. At that very moment, I have reflected on how I am going through with my faith and how diligent I am on my prayer time. As Christian, are we consistent and discipline enough to communicate with Jesus? Or how often God keep on communicating with us in our happiness, frustrations and through the people that we meet every day but we keep on ignoring them. On that Friday morning, I know that God is talking to me through that elderly man and has reminded me that devoting time in prayer and reading the scriptures should always be part of my faith journey.
